| Career counselling session at MIER College of education | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 15: Guidance and Counselling Committee of MIER College of Education conducted a Career Counselling Session for 11th and 12th class students of Model Academy School.
According to handout, resource person for the session was Principal MIET Retd. Maj. Gen. Prof. S.K. Sharma. Dr. Adit Gupta, Joint Director MIER graced the occasion. Other dignitaries present were Dr. Annie Koul HOD College of education and Principal Model Academy Puneet Basur.
Programme started with welcome address by counselor MIER Fiza. In her address, she highlighted Dr. Sharma’s achievements in the field of education. Then, Prof. Sharma acquainted students about various career options open for the students of 10+2. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Adit Gupta said that students should be focused about choosing a career. He also advised the students to refrain from going by what others are doing, rather think about their own interests and abilities.
