| RD arrangements reviewed at Udhampur | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, JAN 15:- Arrangements to celebrate Republic Day function-2011 at Udhampur were reviewed at a meeting of District Officers of various departments held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Mr Rajinder Singh here today.`
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, S. Gurvinderjeet Singh, Additional SP, S. Bhupinder Singh, Assistant Director Youth Services and Sports, Mr. Ashok Kumar, Chief Education Officer, ARTO and District Heads of various departments and Schools were present in the meeting.
The meeting held threadbare discussions on various arrangements related to the smooth conduct of the function like rehearsal of march past and cultural programme, seating, barricading, drinking water and power supply, sanitation, first- aid, security, transport, security, sanitation, traffic regulations and refreshment to students participating in the National function.
The ADC directed the officers concerned to ensure better coordination for making effective arrangements pertaining to their departments. He exhorted upon the District heads to issue a circular to the subordinate officers and employees for ensuring their presence along with family members on the auspicious day.
At Home would also be hosted by the District Administration in the town during evening hours, the meeting decided.
