| Vishal rally against UPA-govt failure organised | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU Jan 16: Jammu West Assembly Movement, president, Sunil Dimple took out a “Vishal Rally” against the failure of the central UPA Govt and State coalition govt for their failure to control “ the petrol and the rising prices” of essential commodities in the J&K.
The large number of people traders and residents of Jammu west assembly constituency burnt effigies of all those behind rising prices, the black marketers, hoarders and the govt. They also blocked road and disrupted vehicular traffic on Amphalla, New Plot, Janipur high court road and raised the slogans against the failure of the govt.
Addressing the people, Dimple alleged that the rise in the petrol prices will raise transportation charges, fairs, the prices of all the essential commodities, eatables and petroleum products will increase and the poor man will be badly hit by this decision of the UPA Govt.
Dimple alleged on one side the rising prices are at a peak and on the other side the unemployment among the youth and people of J&K State is at peak .
Prominent those who participated in the rally included Ishar das, Sushil Sharma, Kulwant Sharma, Rakesh Sharma, Vikyy, Hans Raj, Vipan Vinet Gupta Ramesh Chander Kohli, Dr. Sham Saroop Gupta, Mohan Lal Sharma, Sanjay Nagraj, Kulbir Singh, Manji, Rajinder Verma, Devinder Kumar, D.N.Bhat.

Forum to hold conferences across J&K

JAMMU, Jan 16: Jammu Kashmir Peoples Forum has decided to hold conferences in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh regions on issues and problems confronting state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Announcing this here today, Convenor of the forum Ramesh Sabherwal said that the forum will hold conferences in Kashmir valley and Ladakh. Forum nominated Mohammed Razak Khan of Rajouri, Prof.Narinder Singh and Dr.R.L.Bhat as state co-convenors of the forum, two organisers;Ravinder Raina (incharge Kashmir, Ladakh) and Advocate Rajesh Thappa(Incharge Jammu region) Pawan Kohli as spokesman, Lucky Puri as treasurer, Heera Lal Bhat as media incharge and Ambadaker Gupta as co-coordinator of the forum and Arun Gupta Convenor Jammu Maha-Nagar.
Briefing media person he said that majority of our people are unaware of basics problems of Jammu and Kashmir.
