Centre, state befooling West Pak refugees | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Kathua, Jan 16: The Jammu and Kashmir West Pakistani Refugee Action Committee (JKWPAC) today urged the government to give them citizenship rights legally. The president of JKWPAC Labha Ram Gandhi criticized the previous and present state and centre governments for befooling the west Pakistani refugees with the false and hollow promises. Gandhi said while the refugees are struggling since 1947 and till date are in same condition as in 1947, the association had approached to the government of both state and centre to seek justice but accept assurances no action has been taken to give the justice till date. The district president of Kranti Dal Advocate Sushil Gupta also addressed the meeting of west Pakistani refugees and regretted over the attitude of the governments towards the dealing with long pending genuine demand for legal citizenship right of the refugees. And the JKWPRAC warned the governments of both state and union to face dire consequences if the demands are not solved soon. The West Pakistani Refugees action Committee president Labha Ram Gandhi lambasted on the Kashmir based separatist leader Yasin Malik for saying that no Indian body can hurl the Indian flag in Kashmir. Gandhi said it not a paper statement by Yasin but a big challenge to the sovereignty, and dignity of the Indians which can never be hurted by any anti national elements. He said that the Jammu and Kashmir state is the core part of the India and now placed in the hearts of each and every Indian so its humiliation and its murder by some brutal separatist leaders can never be tolerated. .
