| Geologist association forms new state body | | | JAMMU | NOV 8 Geologist Students Association (GSA) today formed its new State Body on the occasion of its fourth anniversary and vowed to strengthen the association and press the government for the early redressal of the genuine demands of the unemployed Geologists. In the election, Deepak Mahajan has been unanimously elected as the President whereas; Sunil Singh elected as the Chairman of the association. The association reiterated its resolve to strengthen the movement for the cause of Geologists. They also demanded the introduction of Geology from the higher secondary level itself to absorb the unemployed geologists. Association also urged Vice-Chancellor to hold the national level seminar on Geology at an earliest for the knowledge gain of the students. The newly elected President, while addressing the association members condemned state government for adopting neglecting attitude towards the problems of the unemployed youths of the state
