| Sham conducts extensive tour of Akhnoor | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 11: Minister for Health Sham Lal Sharma today conducted an extensive tour of Akhnoor constituency to get first-hand information about the development activities in the area.
Expressing satisfaction over the pace of progress on different development projects, Minister directed officers to meet targets well before current financial year. He stressed for maintaining quality of work as per the laid down Para-meters. He directed officers to make judicious use of funds and furnish the timely utilization certificates to the Government.
The places visited by Minister included village Nardi, Bala, Targah, Targwal and Akhnoor town. He inspected the pace on development of parks by the Floriculture Department at Tacharwan and Bharda Khurd. He asked locals to supervise the works so that assets created by the Government can serve their best utilization.
He said that government wants to create facilities in rural areas at par with urban areas by improving their living conditions. Various deputations called on the Minister en-route and apprised him about the problems of their areas. He assured people that all their genuine problems will be redressed soon
