J&K govt to uplift rural areas | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT MAHORE, Jan 15: Providing basic amenities of life like road connectivity, drinking water, power supply, educational and health care facilities for rural people of hilly and backward areas of the state is the priority of the coalition government headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. This was stated by Minister for Higher Education Abdul Gani Malik while interacting with deputations of different areas of tehsil Mahore who called on him today. Malik said that after going through general demands of public, Malik said that a number of other roads, which include Tuli-BannaKalaban road, Sungri to Balmatkote road, Chassana to Chak Khalour road have already been taken in hand. Among others, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Mahore Sher Singh, Sub Divisional Police Officer, Vinay Sharma, Zonal Education Officer, Mahore and Chassana and officers of other departments also accompanied the Minister during tour of various areas.
