| Rana lambasts BJP over flag hoisting plans | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Jan 16: Lambasting BJP for resorting to communal politics, the Advisor asked the party not to make flag hoisting a point of prestige and desist from derailing the ongoing initiatives taken by the centre for the peaceful resolution of issues concerning the State said political advisor to Chief Minister Davider Singh Rana, while addressing the convention, said that the youth are the power of the nation as they have to shoulder the responsibility of its progress and prosperity. He said Government is aware of the problems of the youth and for their betterment several welfare schemes have been launched.
The Speakers asked the workers to gear up their ranks at all levels and participate in ensuing Panchayat elections in large number. They said establishment of Panchayats would help in involving common people in the process of development and implementation of schemes on the ground as per the local needs. Panchayat elections would also empower the people and strengthened the democracy at grass roots, they maintained.
