JAMMU: A landmine was today defused by BSF in an agriculture field at Regal in Samba close to the International Border (IB). Official sources said a farmer detected a landmine while working in his field at Regal. He brought the matter to the notice of BSF men, who reached the spot and defused the landmine, the sources added. Sources said the timely detection of the IED had averted a possible tragedy. |
