| 10 Kg IED among huge cache recovered from militant hideouts | | Group rivalry in militant outfits claims life of LeT militant | | JAMMU NOV- 8 Open rivalry between the two militant groups came to surface today when some militants of Hizbul Mujahideen outfit killed a Lashkar -e–Toiba militant in Doda district, some militants opened indiscriminate firing in village Godyok falling under Police station Kandi and set ablaze a hut while Security forces recovered huge cache from three different hideouts. According to reports, a group of HM militants during a group clash killed Gul Nawaz Shah alias Maju @ Abu Hamza of Gandoh of LeT outfit, who was active in the area for many years. Immediately on receipt of the information, a Police team rushed to the spot and launched a search operation to apprehend the militants. The search operation was continuing when the reports last came in. In the meantime, a Police spokesman said that some militants opened indiscriminate firing yesterday in village Godyok/Chek Ketha falling under Police Station Kandi and later set ablaze a hut occupied by the NCA personnel. The militants also beat one civilian Abdul Aiz son of Feroz Din resident of Godyok. A Defence spokesman said that based on specific information, the security forces launched search operations at recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition besides 10 kg of RDX from Amratgarh near Thatri in Doda district. The explosive hidden between the boulders was wrapped in polythene. In its search operation at Bodi Nal in Banihal area, the forces recovered a cache hidden in boulders on a bank of nala .The recoveries included one 12 bore single Barrel gun, 125 rounds of AK ammunition, two UBGL grenades, two Chinese grenades, one RC IED receiver and one Binocular. From another hide out in Dharera Pothah, five rounds of 40 mm RL ammunition of Chinese origin was recovered.
