| JEWA seek reorganization of ministerial staff HC calls for report | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Jan: 17 :- Thye High Court today sought status report from the government in a petition filed by Judicial Employees Welfare Association (JEWA).
Vacation judge Justice Sunil Hali issued notice to the government and soughta status report on implementation of Shetty Commission report as far as it relates to the ministerial staff.
The petition sought to implement fact-II of scheme regarding reorganization of ministerial staff of Subordinate Courts as has been agreed by the Govt with all its financial implications.
Another petition seeking direction to the respondents to create permanent staff and infrastructure for 8 new districts Subordinate Court which were created in the year 2007 and to provide necessary infrastructure for the same also came up for hearing.
The court ordered that respondents shall file compliance report indicating the steps taken by them regarding decision taken in the minutes of the meeting held on April 2, 2008 in respect of IInd phase of scheme of reorganization of ministerial staff for subordinate Courts. JNF
