| Romeo force organises Paigam-e-Aman | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SURANKOTE, Jan 17: Educational tour named ‘PAIGAM – E – AMAN’ for children of far flung and border areas of Poonch to Mumbai, Belgaum and Pune was conducted under operation Sadbhavna.
The tour is being conducted by a RR battalion under the aegis of counter insurgency force and comprises of 23 School children and two teachers. Tour provides the children an exposure to the development, quality of life and historical places of interest in the other parts of our country.
Tour was flagged off by Maj Gen K.A.S.Bhullar, General Officer Commanding of COUNTER INSURGENCY FORCE (ROMEO) on 17 Jan 11. Prominent military and civilian dignitaries were present on the occasion. The guest of honour during interaction with the children urged them to make the most of this opportunity and see the enormous development made by our country.
