| Randhir Singh for banning Australian cricket team | | |

Former Minister Th. Randhir Singh president, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Jammu and Kashmir has demanded that the Australian cricket team should be disqualified from playing next World cup for their uncivilized behaviour with BBCI President and Union Minister Sharad Pawar who represents the sentiments of the entire nation at prize distribution ceremony finals of ICC Champions trophy held at Mumbai.
Singh said that the Captain of Australian Cricket Team Ricky Ponting and player Damien Martyn who demonstrated “ worst form of immaturity, smacking of even racism should be debarred for life from International Cricket as it is the Gentleman’s game and lunatics have nothing to do with it”.
Singh, a veteran sportsman of yesterdays, said that not only the cricket lovers, but the entire 120 crore people of India are shocked on the rude, uncivilized misbehaviour of Australian Cricket Team and that too on our soil. Singh pleaded that ICC and Australian Cricket Board should take serious note of it and BCCI must snap all cricketing relations with Australia.
