| Culture Academy, SaMaPa organize music concert | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Jan 18: Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in association with Sopori Academy of Music and Performing Arts (SaMaPa) organised a day long music concert at National Public Higher Secondary School here today. On the occasion, noted musicologist, Ravinder Mishra was the chief guest. While managing director NPS, Rajouri, Ashok Kumar Badyal was the guest of honour. The music concert saw performances by Abhay Rustam Sopori, Ustad Syed Zafar Khan, Sarit Dass and Poushali Dutta.
Speaking on the occasion Badyal said that Rajouri town was known for its cultural richness and his organisation would lend all possible help to organisers of cultural events so as to foster better understanding among people. Echoing Badyal, in charge programme and cultural officer Rajouri, Sanjeev Gupta said that Cultural Academy had prioritised rural areas whereby music concerts and other cultural events had been planned for propagation of state’s cultural diversity.
