While interacting with the Interlocutors, Harsh Dev Singh proposed re-organisation of the state on the basis of languages, geography and culture so as to give opportunities of harmonious development to the people of all the three regions of the state. He further said that the JKNPP stood for creation of separate Assemblies, Separate Secretariats, separate Chief Ministers, separate Recruitment Boards, separate competent Authorities, separate Public Service Commissions, separate Planning Boards and separate Delimitation. He said this was the only way out to address the aspirations of the people of different regions of the state. The JKNPP leaders said that Accession was fine and irrevocable and that there could be no compromise on the territory and sovereignty of India. They said the only unfinished agenda was the vacation of PoK aggression and the occupied territory in consonance with the resolution of the Parliament. The JKNPP leaders demanded revocation of the Indus Water Treaty which they described as highly prejudicial and detrimental to the interests of India. They sought its replacement so as to ensure judicious use of water of our rivers for irrigation, Power generation etc.
