| PDP condoles Skalzan’s death | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Jan 18: Peoples Democratic Party have expressed grief at the passing away of noted sculptor and exponent of Budhist Art Sonam Skalzang in Leh.
Padma Shri awardee Skalzang contributed significantly to the promotion
of Art in the Ladakh region. PDP President Mehbooba Mufti and Spokesperson Naeem have conveyed their condolences to the family of the departed Artist especially his son Tashi Gyalson who is also District president of PDP for Leh
Ladakh. Among other leaders who expressed their solidarity with Tashi Gyalson include Mohammed Dilawar Mir General Secretary, Senior Leader Nizamudin Bhat, Ab Rehman Veeri, Mohd Sartaj Madni.
