| JMC clears 43 building permission cases | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 19: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today cleared 43 building permission cases in a meeting of building operation controlling authority held here today.
According to handout issued here today, the meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner S.C Sawhney. It has been further added that building permissions cases cleared today shall generate revenue of Rs. 5 lakh. Besides, JMC’s municipal veterinary officer along with field staff also conducted drive against adulteration of milk and visited areas of Jewel, Bikram Chowk, Gandhi Nagar, Shastri Nagar, Sanjay Nagar, Satwari, Nai Basti, Gangyal and Trikuta Nagar.
During the drive, 148 milk cans were checked, out of which three which were of sub-standard quality were destroyed and a fine of Rs. 4550 was also realized from the erring milk vendor on spot. Further continuing the drive to check menace of stray animals, the team lifted 10 stray animals and realized Rs. 1200.00 as fine from the owners of stray animals.
