| Sensational Arnia murder case solved, accused arrested | | | JAMMU NOV-08 The sensational murder case at Arnia in February last in which Jagdish Saini of Karyal Arnia was brutally stabbed to death has been successfully worked out by the Border Police Jammu with the arrest of the accused and on his disclosure recovered the weapon of offence from Kaluchack Nallah. Giving details, the Senior Superintendent of Police Border Jammu said that on February 19 last one Jagdish Saini son of Ram Lal Saini of Karyal Arnia was brutally stabbed to death. Two Sikh youth riding on a motorbike came in village Karyal and while parking their motorbike had an altercation with the deceased who objected to the wrong parking of the motorcycle which had also hit the deceased. On this, one of the main accused namely Danchi son of Ranjit Singh resident of Rani Bagh Jammu stabbed the deceased with his kirch a number of times leaving the victim in a pool of blood and fled away on their motor cycle towards an unknown destination. The SSP said that on this case FIR NO 12/2006 under section 302/34 RPC was registered in Police Station Arina and frantic efforts made in tracing out the culprits involved in the heinous offence but all in vain. To work out this case, he said a special team comprising SDPO Samba, SHO Ramgarh and Incharge PP Supwal was constituted. After hard labour, the team managed to arrest the main accused, working as a Conductor in a Truck and on his disclosure, weapon of offence was also recovered from Kaluchack Nallah where he had thrown the same after committing the offence, while fleeing on the motorcycle towards Punjab. With the arrest of the main accused the long pending murder case has been worked out and hunt for the co-accused identified as Sunny son of Romesh Lal resident of Nai Basti is also going on vigorously. The accused has reportedly fled away to Nepal after knowing about the arrest of the main accused, the SSP added.
