CB submits charge sheet in fake appointment case | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Jan 19: Crime Branch (CB) today filed Challan in a local court against a state government employee in a fake appointment case. A crime branch spokesman said that Abdul Majeed Dar, an employee of Agriculture Department had received Rs 1,40,000 from one Abdul Rashid Mugloo, a resident of Doda district in Jammu region, promising to provide government jobs for his son and nephew in the department. However, neither money nor appointment orders were given to Mugloo, he said. Later on a written complaint against accused, CB conducted a thorough investigation, the spokesperson added. He further said that during the investigation it was proved that Dar had received money from Mugloo. Challan was submitted in the court, he said. “'It has been observed that over the years incidents of such cases have increased. In some such cases, even fake appointment orders were issued to some people against payment of thousands of rupees,” he said. He advised general public not to fall into trap of such touts.
