| Give representation to Doda in state cabinet: Milchar Front | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 19: J&K Milchar Front has appealed the Congress high command to give representation to district Doda in the state cabinet in the interest of justice, equality and fair play for all regions of the state. State General Secretary Kuldeep Kumar Rao said that despite being represented by two MLAs and one MLC, district Doda is ignored in the state cabinet. Rao further said that all roads of District Doda which were started 15 to 20 years ago are yet to complete. He urged Chief Minister to direct the concerned to complete all road projects going on in Doda district at the earliest. The condition of all other local roads of District Doda are deplorable and not even handed over for traffic.
Rao also demanded district status for Bhadarwah a long pending demand of the public of the area. The combined population of three Tehsils, Bhadarwah, Gandoh and Thathri' is more than the population of newly created Kishtwar District and much more than that of many newly created districts of Kashmir. Keeping these facts in view old undivided Bhaderwah Tehsil deserves to be a full fledged district with its head quarter at some central place.
