Ill-prepared JU
The host of the inter-college chess tournament, University of Jammu (JU) seemed ill prepared today. Although the women’s teams had already reported for the semi-finals, still there was hardly any preparedness on part of JU. Finding no tables to play on, the teams were kept waiting by the concerned staff. However, it was at 11.40 am that ordinary tables and chairs were arranged from the tent house to conduct the chess semi-finals.
