Rajouri school goes hi-tech as Army donates computers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Jan 20 : A school in a remote village of militancy-affected Rajouri district went hi-tech as Army donated computers under 'Operation Sadbhavana'. An official spokesman today said in a bid to inculcate education of information technology and to awareness about IT revolution in the recent years, the Rashtriya Rifle Battalion as part of 'Operation Sadbhavana' donated computers with requisite furniture and accessories to the Government Higher Secondary School at village Saaj near Thanamandi in Rajouri district. ''It is an initiative of exposing the under privileged students from remote areas to basic computer education,'' the spokesman added. ''The students of the higher classes were especially elated on occasion as computers form an important subject and they would be able to carryout practical in the computer laboratory instead of studying mere theory of the subject,'' he added.
