| PDP protest against govt failures | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Jan 20: Activists of People Democratic Party (PDP) today held a protest rally against alleged failure of National Conference-Congress coalition government in redressing woes of commoners.
According to a handout issued here today, it has been stated that a protest rally started from PDP office and after passing through various bazaars of Kathua culminated at Kathua secretariat. Rally was led by District president of PDP Surinder Singh. While addressing the rally, district president Surinder Singh lambasted state government for adopting anti-youth, anti-SC and anti-OBC policies.
He also regretted BJP’s opportunistic politics and accused it of misleading people by launching Nationwide Ekta March towards Lal Chowk Srinagar to unfurl Indian national flag at a time when commoners are concerned over price rise, unemployment and corruption. Rally was also addressed by state general secretary of PDP Balbir Singh. Others who were present included Jagjeet Singh Jagga, Vinod Gupta, Sudesh Sapolia and Mustaq.
