| NC terms flag hoisting ‘political stunt’ of BJP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Jan 20: Youth wing of National Conference today held protest demonstration at kathua against Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha’s controversial decision to hoist national flag at Lal Chowk in Srinagar on January 26.
According to press release issued here today, protest was led by district president of youth wing of National conference Harpreet Singh Sethi. While addressing the gathering, Sethi criticized BJP and its youth wing for its plans to hoist national flag at Lal Chowk at a time when the peace has returned to Kashmir valley only a few months back.
Sethi said that flag hoisting is a political stunt of BJYM. Those who participated in the protest demonstration included Amit Sharma, Surinder, Ashwani, Simaranjeet Singh, Jeevan Parkash, Chandan Sharma, Vishal Salathia, Rajinder Singh, Rakesh Surinder, Mahinder Paul Singh and Pankaj Sharma.
