| JMC seizes polythene bags, penalizes traders | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 20: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today seized about 10 Kilograms of polythene carry bags from shopkeepers, vendors and others outlets alongside realizing an amount of Rs. 4300 as fine from 19 defaulters who were using the polythene carry bags.
In an official handout issued here today, it has been stated that enforcement staff led by Chief Enforcement Officer (CEO) S.D.Tak along with police force inspected shops and other outlets in the areas of Janipur, Roop Nagar, Bantalab, Muthi and other adjoining areas. Team also demolished the ongoing construction at lower Roop Nagar which was being raised unauthorized.
