| NC, PDP, Cong misleading people: BJP | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 20: About 150 women joined BJP Mahila Morcha in the presence of state president Shamsher Singh Manhas in a function held at party headquarter here today.
According to handout issued here today, new entrants were welcomed into the party with distribution of sweets. It has been further said that proceedings of this function were conducted by General Secretary of BJP Mahila Morcha Priya Sethi. On this occasion, Manhas said that people have also realized that it is the BJP which has been working with commitment for the welfare of masses and agitating on issues of national importance.
State president of Mahila Morcha Sakina Bano said that price rise and unemployment has increased woes of the commoners. She further said that Congress, NC and PDP have been misleading people. She said that it was BJP only which ensured prevented J&K government from stamping state subject certificate of the women with “valid till marriage” as being discriminatory with the women-folk.
