| Flag hoisting at Lal Chowk | | KPs interlocutors’ suggestion political blackmail | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 20: The Joint Forum of Kashmiri Pandit organizations today held an emergency meeting and discussed the political scenario particularly the statements and activities of Interlocutors on Jammu and Kashmir appointed by government of India.
The meeting rejected unanimously contention of the Interlocutors that hoisting of national flag at Lal Chowk, Srinagar should be avoided. They added that suggestion of interlocutors is tantamount to furthering agenda of secessionist forces in Kashmir valley at the expense of national cause. The meeting was attended among others by Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, H.L.Chatta, D. N. Kissu and Virender Raina.
Chrungoo, asserted that the opposition to hoisting of tricolour cannot be made a subject of political blackmail by any section of the population. H.L.Chatta said that Interlocutors need to understand that Kashmiri Pandit community has been the victim of manmade catastrophe in the valley.
