| HCL recruits 29 engineers from SMVDU | | | Early Times Report
KATRA, Jan 20: HCL Technologies, a giant among the Indian IT Multi-nationals, conducted campus recruitment drive specially for B.Tech(Computer Science ) and B.Tech(Electronics & Communication Engg.) students of SMVDU.
Recruitment process consisted of a rigorous multi-dimensional on-line test, which was an elimination round, followed by an interview with highly trained professionals from HCL Technologies. 29 students of the University successfully made it through the two rounds and were selected for the post of Software Engineers with an annual package of Rs.3.25 Lakh.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. R N K Bamezai interacted with the team members of HCL Technologies and expressed his satisfaction at their appreciation of the infrastructure and student quality. He attributed success of the university to the merit based admission process and the efforts made by faculty members to inculcate knowledge among the students.
