| Girl murdered mercilessly at Ramgarh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 20: In a gruesome murder committed mercilessly, a girl, who worked in a beauty parlour, was stabbed to death with sharp-edged weapons at Chak Balotra near Ramgarh in Vijaypur area of Samba Wednesday night. Her body was recovered from a village field this morning, police sources said.Nisha Devi (22), daughter of Lal Chand, left home at Chak Balotra at about 7 pm yesterday in connection with some work. However, she did not return home after that, the sources added.
Her body was found lying in a village field by a local at about 10 am today.
The news of her murder spread like wild fire in the village and soon police also reached the spot. SSP, Samba, Israr Ahmad Khan and a FSL team also arrived there after sometime.
Police recovered a cap and a Nokia mobile (1210 series) battery
shutter from near the body. Sources said there had been a scuffle between her and the accused
before the murder as the bunches of girl's head hair were found scattered at the site.
There were nearly 10 stab wounds in her stomach and on the chest. As her stomach was cut almost completely, the intenstines had come out, the sources added.
The FSL team also picked up some samples from the spot. Police later removed the body and the intenstines to hospital after completing legal formalities.
After post-mortem, the body was handed over to the family for last rites. SSP Khan said police had got some vital clues into the incident.Police were working on the theory that a love affair could be the possible reason behind the murder.
