B.Ed. student stabbed in Kathua | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 20: A B.Ed. student was today stabbed by two youth at Mukerjee Chowk in Kathua. Police sources identified the victim as Ravinder Singh, son of Rattan Singh of Barwal and the accused as Bhavnesh Singh, son of Sagar Singh of Barwal, and Mitu Sharma, son of Gopal Sharma of ward No 10, Kathua. Sources said Ravinder, a student of R S B.Ed. college in Kathua, had come to Mukerjee Chowk to buy books when the accused allegedly stabbed him with sharp-edged weapons. Ravinder was hospitalised. The accused had been arrested by police. Sources said the weapon of offence was also recovered from them. Police had registered a case in this connection.
