| SOCIAL WELFARE DEPTT ORGANISE PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED CUM AWARENESS CAMP AT BHADERWAH | | | Bhaderwah Nov 9
Social welfare Deptt. Doda organized a physically handicapped cum awareness camp at Tehsil headquarter Bhaderwah , where District Social Welfare Officer Mr. Shahid Mehmood was the Chief Guest . In the camp about 200 physical Handicapped persons participated . The Disst. Officer said that the Govt has senctioned some more schemes for the development of the physical handicapped people and ask the people to get benefits from the schmes.
The District Officer distributed 50 hearing aid machines, 20 Crutches,6Motorised
Wheel Chaired, 20 Wheel-Chairs, among the beneficiaries .
The District President Handicapped Association Mr. Farooq Ahmed Thoug appericiated the role of Disst. Officer , who worked hard for the beneficiaries and distributed artifical limbs to the needy peoples of the Disst. Doda. He demanded that in March 2006 a team was deputed by director Social Welfare Officer Jammu , to get the measurement of Artifical Limbs for benegficieries and demand to distribute among the people.
Others who were present on the occasion included CDPO Bhaderwah, Panther Party Iqbal Choudhary, NC leader Shabir Ahmed Choudhary, Bashir Ahmed Wani of Congress Dal, Secretary of Block Congress Lal Man, etc.
