| JKMEF rejects govt roadmap for payment of arrears | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 21: Jammu and Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) has opposed roadmap issued by the state government for payment of arrears to the employees under 6th Pay Commission in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a meeting, federation chairman Dharminder Singh Bhargav said that government is trying to befool employees and alleged that the government has not fulfilled the agreement reached between JCC leaders and sub-committee constituted by the government. He said that government has also not issued orders for regularization of the Adhoc employees and also not redressed the anomalies of the clerical and other employees.
The federation has also criticized government for not sanctioning 10 per cent DA installment with effect from July 2010 in favour of the employees. Bhargav appealed the employees to remain united. Those who attended the meeting included R. K Sharma, Paramjeet Singh, Saroj Bala, Mohammad Hussain, Mamta Sharma, Mohammad Latief, Jatinder Singh and Kuldeep Singh.
