| Traffic cops’ inefficiency causing jams: Mubarak Mandi traders | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 21: Expressing resentment against the Traffic Police, the shopkeepers of
Mubarak Mandi bazaar alleged that men in blue are allowing illegal and
unlawful parking of the vehicles, thus causing great inconvenience to
the public, especially to the students who are studying in various
institutions located in the area.
The shopkeepers said that the two wheeler riders move their scooters,
motor cycles in fast speed in the Mubarak Mandi bazaar but the traffic
cops watch all this happening as mute spectators.
The traders further said they also approached the Jammu Municipal
Corporation for establishing a urinal in some corner at Mubark Mandi
Bazaar as people are urinating in open thus causing unhygienic
condition in the area.
The Shopkeepers of Mubarak Mandi Bazaar also approached the State
President of Shri Ram Sena, Jammu Kashmir Rajiv Mahajan and informed
him of their plights.
Rajiv Mahajan State President of Shri Ram Sena, have personally
visited the area and found the illegal parking of vehicles in the
Bazaar due to which there are frequent Traffic jams there by bringing
nuisance for the public
