| Fake currency recovered in Kupwara | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Jan 21: Police today arrested a person along with counterfeit Indian currency notes.
According to sources, the police arrested one person identified as
Fayaz Ahmad Mochi with 13000 fake currency notes in a Jammu and
Kashmir Bank branch at Sogam in district Kupwara after getting prior
information that the accused is carrying fake currency.
Police also recovered Rs 33000 in cash from the possession of the
arrested person, sources said adding a case has been registered and
further investigation was in progress.
