`Remove pay anomalies of clerical cadre’

JAMMU Jan 21 : A joint meeting of the representatives of Jammu AND Kashmir Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association was held under the leadership of Sayeeda Ladakhi, State Convenor.
Members of the association urged upon the state Government to issue orders regarding the removal of pay anomalies in case of clerical cadre and reorganization of clerical cadre as promised by the pay anomalies committee headed by Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather. Ladakhi said that pay anomalies in case in 17 different cadres of the state government employees have been removed till date but the cadre of clerical cadre was deliberately kept aside due to unknown reason. She further said that an agreement was made between the All Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakhi Clerical Staff Association and the government representatives Basharat Ahmad Dar, B.B.Vyas and Sudanshu Pandey on March 10, 2007 regarding the removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre but till date nothing has been done in this matter.
Later, all the representatives in one voice rejected the roadmap announced by the state government regarding the payment of arrears of 6th pay commission and also rejected the S.R.O regarding the additional two increments of those Jr. Assistants./ Sr. Assistants who pass the Secretariat Traning Examination and appealed to all the clerical cadre employees of the state to unite on a single platform .
Syeeda Ladakhi appealed to the Chief Minister, Finance Minister to personally examine the demands of Clerical cadre to remove pay anomaties in case of Clerical Cadre to bring more transparency and efficiency in the root level administration. She warned the State Government that further delay in removal of Pay Anomalies of Clerical Cadre will complicate the matter and the employees will be forced again to come on the streets.
