| Awareness prog on women empowerment organized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Jan 21: MLA Indu Pawar today organized an awareness programme for empowerment of women in rural areas of Jammu district through Central Bank of India. The awareness camp was attended by various distinguished members.
During this programme, free bank accounts were opened in favour of women. The bank is helping the rural poor women for being self sufficient in among using the capital required for starting small micro units at their own level. MLA Indu Pawar emphasized on the importance of this camp by which they can organise various micro business such as bee farming, carpet weaving painting, bio gas to enlighten the public .
