| Power shut down | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 21: In order to carry out the branch cutting and tightening of loose jumpers of 33 KV Canal- Company Bagh line in view of the Republic Day parade celebration to be held in the MAM Stadium in Jammu, the power supply to Company Bagh, PHE, Jewal, Denis Gate, Parade and adjoining areas, fed from 33 KV Canal- Company Bagh line will remain affected on January 22, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Similarly, to carry out the work of shifting of 33 KV Canal-Medical Line in front of Super Speciality Hospital, Resham Ghar Colony, the power supply to Bakshi Nagar, Shakti Nagar, Rajpura, Maheshpura, Rehari, part of Sarwal and other adjoining areas will remain affected on January 22 & 23, 2011 from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. and 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. respectively.
Power supply to R/Stn Medical Station will be run from 33 KV Company Bagh-New Sectt Line. Meanwhile, to carry out the thickening of the conductor, the power supply to the 33/11 KV R/Stns. Purkhoo, Marh and Gajansoo will remain affected from January 22 to 25, 2011 from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. According to Superintending Engineer, Elect. M& RE Circle-I, Jammu, the shut down is subjected to fair weather condition.
