Single window citizen’s service delivery monitoring system introduced | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 21: Deputy Commissioner Jammu Sanjeev Verma has observed that there are instances, where delay and dilatory tactics, cause immense inconvenience and hardships to the citizens even for availing basic services from the field staff in the matter of issuance and processing of PRCs, entering mutation for giving effect to sales of land, made for categories of land as per the standing order Number 22 and issuance of copies of Revenue documents. NIC, Jammu has prepared a software-Single Window Citizen Service Delivery Monitoring System to provide personalized, effective and timely services to the citizens. Some Niabat Circles are identified as Model Niabats of Tehsil Jammu for the said purpose which includes Jammu Khas, Muthi, Bhalwal, Gole, Satwari, Digiana and Bahu. It has been decided that all the application for the said basic services shall be presented by the concerned applicant on the single Window system countered at District Office, Jammu. Incharge of the single window will immediately enter each application properly and issue a unique serial number to the applicant and also mark on the application. Thereafter, the application will be carried to the ADC, ACR, Tehsildar or Naib Tehsildar, as the case may be for necessary action. Tehsildar/Naib Tehsildar or any other concerned official shall be personally responsible to ensure that action needed in the matter, under rules is performed. This be done and a compliance report shall be send by the Tehsildar to the District office in the monitoring section-headed by Assistant Commission, (Nazool). Subordinate officers shall be personally responsible to ensure action in time bound manner.
