| Giri's associate detained under PSA | | | | JAMMU: Vikramjeet Singh alias Vicky -- a notorious criminal and alleged associate of Giri -- was today detained for two years under public safety act (PSA).After an order in this regard was issued by the authorities concerned, he was shifted to the district jail.He was allegedly involved in several attempt to murder cases and 15 other criminal cases, police sources said.He was said to be an associate of Giri, who was killed in an alleged police encounter on marble market road here in November last. |
