Gold, cash looted at gun point in Rajouri | | | JAMMU: Five masked men last night robbed a family at gun point at Jamola in Rajouri of cash and gold jewellery worth about two lakh rupees. It was, however, not immediately known if the robbery was committed by militants, or local criminals, police sources said. Sources said five masked men, two of whom carried rifles, forced their entry into the house of Mohammad Qasim, son of Abdul Aziz, late last night. They robbed the family of cash and gold ornaments worth about Rs two lakh and fled the spot before causing any harm to the family, the sources added. The matter was brought to the notice of Rajouri police by Qasim this morning. Sources said SSP, Rajouri, had ordered a probe into the incident. Though some suspects were questioned, no one had been taken into custody by police, the sources added.
