District Industries Centre has disbursed cash incentive of Rs. 448.56 lakh among 534 beneficiaries in establishing their SSI Units, generating employment opportunities to 1446 persons during the last one year. Under Prime Minister’s Rozgar Yojana (PMRY) an amount of Rs. 130.47 lakh has been provided to 131 beneficiaries. While as interest subsidy under PMRY to the tune of Rs. 12.26 lakh has also been disbursed among 196 beneficiaries and cash incentive of Rs. 448.56 lakh has been disbursed among 207 beneficiaries for setting up of their SSI units during the same period. Besides, 164 SSI units have been given fresh registration and provisional registration has been accorded to 555 units.
