EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 21: The state vigilance organisation (SVO) today produced challan against a superintendent engineer (SE), electricial-mechanical Grade-1, of GREF in a corruption case. The challan was produced in the court of special judge anti-corruption, Srinagar, SVO sources said. SE Shirshir Kumar Yadav, then posted at Jawahar Tunnel, was alleged to have demanded and accepted Rs 14,000 from Irshad Ahmad Rather, son of Mohammad Shafi Rather of Drangbal, Baramullah, for allowing three trailors loaded with machinery of hot mix plant to cross the tunnel. |
