JKPCC leader concerned over shortage of seeds | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Jan 22: J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), Vice President, Th. Hari Singh today expressed concern over the shortage of seeds and fertilizers in Vijaypur block and urged upon the government to provide the same without further loss of time. Singh was speaking at a workers meeting at Ramgarh of Vijaypur Block. He said that he has toured the entire Constituency of Vijaypur and took stock of the problems of people. There was complaint of the farmers that they are not getting fertilizers and seeds as per their requirement. It is also reported that there is black-marketing of seeds and fertilizers in Vijaypur Block and the shortage is created by the system itself. He urged upon the concerned authorities to streamline the system and ensure adequate supply of seeds and fertilizers to the farmers so that they should not suffer on this score. PCC leader also appealed to the Congress workers to gear up for ensuing Panchayat and local bodies elections and said that select honest and dedicated candidates for the elections. Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Dr. Buti Ram (Working President BCC Vijaypur), Yash Pal Sharma, Ch. Rach Pal, Raghuvir Sharma, Omkar Singh, Capt. Sabtantar Singh, Chuar Mal Sharma, Madan Lal Chalotra, Raschpal Sharma and others.
