JAMMU, JAN 22-In order to carry out the work of extending bus bar of new 33 KV bay for capacitor bank, preventive maintenance works of 33 KV bus bars and allied equipment at the grid station, the shut down to Areas of Gandhinagar, Narwal, Bathandi, Trikuta Nagar, Nanak Nagar and part of old Jammu city of 33 KV yard at 220/132/33KV grid station Gladni shall remain affected on January 23, 2011 from 0900 hours to 1400 hours.
Meanwhile, in order to complete the work of thickening of bus bars, replacement of 33 KV breakers and painting of 33 KV yard at Grid Station, Miran Sahib and Bari-Brahamna respectively alongwith other allied improvement works at the gird station, the power supply to Bari-Brahamna Industrial Area, Narbadha, Jakh, Vijaypur, Birpur Industrial Complex, Kartholi, R S Pura, Miran Sahib, Bishnah, Seora and Salehar, part of Trikutanagar and Industrial Area fed from Gangyal Grid Station of 132/33/KV and 132/33/11KV Grid Station, Miran Sahib and Bari-Brahamna shall remain affected on January 23, 2011 from 0900 hours to 1400 hours.
According to Chief Engineer, Electric Maintenance & RE Wing, Jammu, the shutdown is subject to fair weather conditions.
