| Search operation in Mendhar woods enters 3rd day | | | JAMMU: A massive "seek and destroy" operation, launched by security forces in Uchchaad woods of Mendhar, Poonch, in search for two militants, today entered third day. The combing operation in the Uchchaad forests was started by security personnel Thursday following inputs that two militants had been sighted there.
Police sources said even jawans searched for the militants in the woods for the third consecutive day today, they could not find any clue to their whereabouts. The searches were continuing when reports last came in. Details were awaited. |
