| Man dies after jumping in front of train | | | JAMMU: A man was today killed after he jumped in front of a moving train in Samba, about 45 km from here.
Police sources said Prem Paul (37) jumped in front of Pooja Express at Manohar Puli, Samba, at about 8.20 am and died instantly. Police later reached the spot and evacuated the body to hospital mortuary. After post-mortem, it was handed over to his family members for last rites. He hailed from Shinki Chhapri.Sources said he was mentally upset after the death of his brother some time back. He worked in a factory. Police had registered a case in this connection. |
