| Educational tour for Doda, Kishtwar children flagged off | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu , Jan 23: An educational tour for children of Doda and Kishtwar was flagged off today from Thatri by Commander Rashtriya Rifles Sector.
Creating a kind of history, the children of these remote villages will have the opportunity to travel by air from Jammu to Delhi thus providing them an unique experience. During the tour, the children would be introduced to the rich traditions and cultural heritage of the country. The visit would go a long way in moulding these young and innocent minds towards aligning their outlook with the national mainstream.
In this tour, 23 students belonging to remote and far flung villages from the districts of Doda and Kishtwar along with two teachers are touring the national capital New Delhi and the historical cities of Jaipur, Ajmer and Udaipur from January 23 to February 3 .
Commander of Headquarter Sector Rashtriya Rifles while flagging off the tour from Thatri expressed hope that the tour will have a positive impact on these young children and will motivate them to excel in life.
