Tributes paid to Netaji Subash Chander
Dy CM Calls for following the path shown by the great leader

Jammu, Jan 23: Describing Netaji Subash Chander Bose as true nationalist, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Tara Chand today said that Netaji was one of the tallest leaders of freedom struggle and real tribute to the great leader is to follow the path shown him. He said Netaji was among the greatest patriots who fought for the Indian freedom.
Tara Chand was speaking at a function organized in Town Hall Jammu to commemorate 114th birth anniversary of Netaji Subash Chander Bose,here today. The function was organized by Freedom Fighters Association (FFA).
Commissioner, JMC Mr. S. C Sahani, Director Information Khawaja Farooq Renzoo Shah besides senior functionaries of FFA and prominent citizens attended the function.
While recalling contributions of Netaji, the Deputy Chief Minister said formation of Indian National Army was his biggest contribution by which an organized army was established to fight against the aggression of British forces. He said on his clarion call thousands of youth from all across the Nation joined the movement and gave their lives for freedom struggle.
Mr. Tara Chand also attended an impressive function to mark birth anniversary of Netaji at Gandhi Nagar.
The function among others was attended by MLA, Bhaderwah Mr. Mohd. Sharief Niaz, MLC Narish Gupta, former MLAs Mr. Jugal Kishore, Mr. Yogesh Sawhney, Mr. Gharu Ram and Mr. Janak Raj Gupta besides prominent members of civil society.
Later, while addressing a public darbar at Pucca Talab the Deputy Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the problems faced by the people of the area.
Prominent among those present at the public darbar were MLC, Mr. Abdul Gani Vakil and Ex-MLA Mr. Balwan Singh besides large number of people of the area.
While speaking to the gathering, the Deputy Chief Minister said all round development of state is the resolve of government and various development initiatives have been taken to make the state a model state. Mr. Tara Chand assured that all genuine issues of the people would be addressed and passed on instructions to the concerned to do the needful.

Pradesh Youth Congress led by R. S. Pathania, senior Vice-President, today organised a colourful function at its Shahidi Chowk headquarters coinciding with 113th birthday of the towering national freedom movement stalwart, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose.
Addressing the Youth Congress activists,. Pathania gave a clarion call to the party workers and the general masses to emulate the charismatic leader, his ideology, concept of independent ‘Bharat” and characteristic life-style. Pathania said that the concept of ‘purna swaraj’ was so beautifully and forcefully projected by Netaji that Congress was forced to adopt it in Lahore session. His address to Congress workers after assuming the office of President of Congress at Tripuri in 1939 was a memorable master-piece for its far-sightedness, outstanding vision and relevance towards the political landscape of India .
Pathania further called for treading upon the path shown by the intellectual giant who was not only an outstanding leader but a visionary, karamyogi and a globalist par excellence. Prominent among who attended today’s gala function included Manu Jamwal, Amit Manhas, Shafiq Rehman Bhat, Sumeet Magotra, Dr. Ajay Jamwal, Shivang Satya Gupta, Chander Sharma, Sham Lal Thappa, Rajiv Sharma, R. K. Verma, Mulkh Raj Bhagat, Behzad Mallik, Shashi Bhushan, DS Manhas, Ajay Bakshi, Munish Sharma, Ajay Taloor, Yudhbir Singh and others.
Meanwhile, Congress Seva Dal, Urban Unit, Jammu paid the floral tributes to the great revolutionary leader Neta ji Subash Chander Bose on his 114 th birth anniversary , under the leadership of B.S.Sambyal, Chief organisor, at Talab Tillo . Addressing the Seva Dal workers, Sambyal said that they will leave no stone unturned and destine to carry forward the great mission of the Neta Ji .
Vipan Nischal ,Chief Urban, Jammu, appealed to the congress workers and public in general to participate in the rally on January 30.at Parade Gound which will addressed by Ghulam Nabi Azad who is International President of Gandhi Global family .Other senior leaders present were J.K.Koul,S.S.Jamwal,Anil Sharma,Nisha Abrol, Kanta Devi Anju Rani Rajni Sharma ,Babbly Gupta,Mohd. Sky High India, a social organization today celebrated 114th birth anniversary of Neta Ji Subash Chander Bose at its Head Office. Speaking on the occasion, Aman Kalsotra, prominent social worker and director of the Organisation said that Netaji was a real son of India who worked for the united India and even sacrificed his life for the nation.
