| Shaheed Tilak Raj Memorial gate inauguarated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur Jan 23: Balwant Singh Mankotia, MLA, Udhampur today inaugurated Shaheed Tilak Raj Memorial Gate at W. No-3 Udhampur town. The gate was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 2 lakh out of constituency development funds. He also inaugurated culvert of W. No 3 at an estimated cost of Rs 2.50 lakhs which would benefit around two thousand families
Large number people, including the family members of martyr were present on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Mankotia appreciated martyr Tilak Raj who laid down his life in Poonch sector to save the honour of motherland . He further announced the name of the W. No -3 as Tilak Nagar.
Others present on the occasion were S.H.O Udhampur, Deep Singh, Tanvir, Jagdish Kumar, Babu, Ramnik, Som Raj, Mintu, Sanjay Kumar, Ram Kumar Banotra, Samnik Basim etc.
