Shabir inspects progress on dev works in Rajouri | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 23:- Minister of State for Power, Transport and CA&PD, Shabir Ahmad Khan today conducted an extensive tour of Rajouri and inspected pace of progress on various ongoing developmental works in the border district. During his tour, the Minister visited Manjakot Ghambir Maghla, Dehriralyote, Breri, Dabrote Bharote Gali and Sora and inspected prestigious Bharote Gali to Sora road being constructed to connect twin blocks of Manjakot and Thanamandi . On its completion, the road would provide connectivity to about 50,000 people of the area. Shabir also inspected work on Rs 4.26 crore Patrara to Ghambir- Maghla road and a bridge along the stretch. He was informed that Rs 2.80 crore has been spent so far on the 10 km road taken up under PMGSY. At Ghambir-Maghla, he inspected pace of progress on Rs 7 crore 11 km road being constructed to connect the area with Hattansari and 5 km Ghalla to Bharote Galli road coming up at a cost of Rs 2.18 crore. The Minister also announced upgradation of primary school Bolloi to middle level and a new primary school for Ghambir Maghla. The Minister also visited the construction site of PWD hut at Ghambir Maghla coming up at a cost of Rs.40 lakh.
